Driftglow

1 October 2026

1.2.0

• Live: the wallpaper draws itself and follows the hour without a jump. 38 scenes come alive for a few seconds when you look, then settle.
• 4 new scenes: Glow Cap, Tram, Lava Lamp, Turntable.
• 36 scenes redrawn: a new comet and nebula, smoke rings, a chrome spoon, space scenes that keep their evening sky by day.
• A Guide that shows how to use the app.
• Fixes for midnight jumps and the phase of the moon.

1.1.0

• 66 new scenes, in collections: space, the city at night, rain, neon, low light.
• New home screen: one column, with three scenes that change every day.
• Grain now has three steps that actually look different.

1.0.0

• The first version: a wallpaper built from the hour of the day, following the real sunrise and sunset of your time zone.
• Each scene moves in its own way, and you can build one from a photograph of your own.
• It works offline and asks for a single permission: the one to set a wallpaper.

Driftglow is free, and nothing in it is locked. If you would like to say thanks, there is a Ko-fi page.
